It is not the responsibility of Holden Beach Vacation Rental By Owner, its affiliates or it’s employees to give legal advice or to advise the listing host of their legal responsibility to the guests, town or state.

By accepting our Terms of Service and activating a listing, you certify that you will follow your local laws and regulations.
You will agree to these terms and not hold Holden Beach Vacation Rental By Owner or it’s employees responsible for terms not met:
- Host must remit any necessary short term rental taxes to the appropriate agencies.
- Host must read and understand the state and county rules and regulations of renting a home short term in Holden Beach. You must read and understand all rules pertaining to listing a short term rental.
- You must obtain legal advice from a licensed attorney in North Carolina and not from Holden Beach Vacation Rental By Owner or its employees. Any advice or suggestions we give may not be legally enforceable and please address all your questions to a licensed North Carolina attorney.
Holden Beach Vacation Rental By Owner Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe platform for you to advertise your property.
- Help you navigate the website so you can successfully submit a listing.
- We do not act as intermediaries in the reservation process.
- We do not manage your listings.
- We do not provide legal services.
- We do not provide accounting services.
- We do not provide cleaning services. We can provide a list of approved vendors.
- We do not provide management services. We can provide a list of approved vendors.
- We utilize SEO optimization, but we cannot guarantee any expected results.
- We utilize broad marketing including visualization on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.
Billing and Renewals
*Yearly Membership
When you sign for a yearly membership, your listing will appear for 12 months. You have a 72 hour grace period to cancel your membership. You cannot cancel your membership after the 72 hour grace period. After which, your membership will auto-renew unless we are notified by email that you would like to discontinue your membership. Prices per listing may change and please refer to the membership page for current pricing. If you sign for the monthly membership, please notify us immediately if you would like to cancel your membership. We can cancel your membership for the next monthly cycle.
Guest Registration Agreement
Any agreement between the “guest” and the “host” is strictly between the guest and the host. Holden Beach Vacation Rental By Owner does not participate in short term rental agreements between the “guest” and the “host”. We do not represent the “guests” or the “hosts”. We are an advertising platform only.
Initialing the form below, you have read the terms and agreement of this contract and that you agree to all the terms set forth in this contract.
